Having travelled and lived all over the world, Mr. J and his family never got the time to truly make a home.
But through the years, they had the time to think about how they wanted it.
A successful businessman also mean a busy-man. They had the vision but not the time.
Having built their small fortune through years of hard work, and only thanks to their wise mind, always favoring thrifty moves and informed decision, they didn't want to carelessly splash it all in one go just to say that they diserved it after all those sacrifices.
Construction and renovation costs are highly volatile if not well planned. One bad decision leading to another, such enterprise is often too stressful for most buyers, that will instead choose a pricier move-in ready property to avoid any risk, but at a higher price and with generic features.
Mr. J. & family had a vision for their home, and they wanted it in their own image : memorable.
The crafted selection of natural stones, coupled with a delicate bouquet of colorful fabrics endow the space with an incandescent elegance, only challenged by the audacity of the contemporary furniture boasting style and functionality.

Execution Strategy
Meeting the family was a wholesome experience. Usually only one or two members participate in the development of such project, with a rather vague idea of what the children want, and trying to uniformize the room of everyone.
Here everyone had their say. Parents wished their kids to feel as much at home as they would, insisting on the idea that the bedroom should please the children first. So we listened to them, learning about their taste, and after showing them options to guide them, we came up with something that they truly felt like "their" bedroom. We tried to keep a tonal structure (green and brownish accent layered over a calming light beige) reminiscent of the living area, added curves and similar textures so the spaces kept a connection with each other, just like family.

Reminiscent of the Roman tradition favoring Travertine for its strength and ease of use, both the dining table and the kitchen island are made of honed Travertine, bringing a robust elegance and delicate stability to the core. The lighter elements, chairs and stools carry with poise their contemporary elegance around, wafting their audacious silhouette among the unwavering center pieces.
The living area, with an ancient Greece inclination for marble, grace us with a collection of fine furniture where the organic shapes of the sofa embrace the armchairs singularity, sheltering a nook of absolute comfort while revealing the discreet opulence of the space.
